Emily Vlasak focuses her practice on the energy and utility sector as well as working on environmental matters.
Emily first joined Lewis Kappes as a summer associate where she had the opportunity to work with and learn from attorneys in a variety of practice areas.
With a strong foundation in legal theory and practice acquired while in law school and through internships, Emily has honed the art of critical thinking and analytical prowess. This background has been further enriched by her expertise in economics, which she cultivated during her undergraduate studies and through her summer work experiences in business and finance.
Earning a Juris Doctor from the University of Notre Dame Law School and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the University of Michigan, Emily embodies the values of rigorous education, ethical practice, and a multidisciplinary approach to complex problem-solving.
As a law student, Emily served as a 1L representative for Legal Voices for Children & Youth, volunteered for Notre Dame's Exoneration Project Clinic, and participated in the Women's Legal Forum. In addition, she spent a semester studying in London through Notre Dame's London Law Program.
Emily works to provide comprehensive legal solutions that consider not only the immediate legal implications but also the broader economic and business context that aligns with the ever-changing demands of the industry.
