Sarah W. Cudahy
Director

Sarah Cudahy is a director and a member of the firm’s education and labor and employment practice groups. She advises clients in a variety of areas, including education, labor and employment, and government affairs throughout the State of Indiana. She also mediates, trains, and facilitates, primarily in labor and employment.
Prior to joining the firm, Sarah worked at the Federal Mediation and Conciliation Service, where she served in a variety of senior leadership roles including General Counsel and Deputy Director. Before that, she was Executive Director and General Counsel of the Indiana Education Employment Relations Board.
Sarah is a graduate of Washington University in St. Louis Law School and graduated summa cum laude from Boston University, majoring in Education, Public Policy, and European Studies.
Sarah has served in leadership roles in various professional organizations, including the Association of Labor Relations Agencies, the Labor and Employment Section of the American Bar Association, and the Labor and Employment Relation Association. She also was an adjunct professor at the American University Washington School of Law and taught Human Resources Compliance.
Sarah is a frequent speaker on labor and employment, alternative dispute resolution, and public affairs, including being a plenary speaker at national and international conferences and webinars with the American Bar Association, Labor and Employment Relations Association, Association of Labor Relations Agencies, and at a Labor Summit in Taiwan. Recent topics include artificial intelligence and school law, collective bargaining trends, legal updates in labor and employment, virtual mediations, negotiating first contracts, negotiating with small units, teacher collective bargaining and strikes, ethics, and state and federal agency updates. She has also authored several publications on labor and employment.
